Who Are We? Kids 'n Caregivers consist of a group of in-home childcare providers in The Colony and surrounding areas who are in compliance with the standards set forth by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS). The purpose of our group is to improve the quality of in-home daycare by providing caregivers with moral, educational and professional support as well as training opportunities. Kids 'n Caregivers was formed in July 2001. The first meeting was held in August 2001. In addition to providing support we direct referrals and work as an information network for providers and families in Dallas, Denton and Collin County. Meetings take place every fourth (4th) Tuesday of each month, except in June and July, and are held in members’ homes. Arrival time is at 6:30p.m. with the meeting beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. Speakers attend regular meetings at least six (6) times per year. In addition CRP and First Aid is offered two (2) times a year. MEETINGS ARE FOR ADULTS ONLY. Click to see our current meeting schedule. Click here to go directly to our Provider listings.
