Curriculum Information and Sites Pre-School curriculum programs can be designed by you or purchased to meet the developmental needs of infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Day Care Providers can present curriculum 2 to 5 times a week for short intervals throughout the day. Most curriculum programs present an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and colors through books, handouts and hands on art and science projects. Some curriculum programs provide supplies, tapes, books, puppets or felt board characters while others just provide a lesson plans. Due to the wide variety of curriculum programs one may be chosen based on the specific needs of the children in your care. Curriculum can be used to introduce children to the world around them in a fun way. Curriculum not only introduces children to learning but also promotes language, large and fine motor skills, intellectual, social, emotional & physical development.
